There are two versions of the Scout Promise. Your leader will tell you which one your group uses, or you can choose the one that fits your own beliefs. Both carry exactly the same honour.
"My spiritual beliefs" can also be said as "my duty to my God" — use whichever wording fits your beliefs.
For Scouts whose families don't follow a spiritual belief. It is just as meaningful — the honour is the same.
When you say "on my honour" you are making a solemn personal commitment. You are not just repeating words. You are telling every person in that room that this is your genuine promise to yourself and to the world. Your honour is your integrity, your character, and your word. A Scout who says the Promise means every single line of it.
